Lately I have been working on some Christmas decorations for my home. I have been wanting to make a Christmas Tree skirt for a several years. We old had a very boring one I bought at Wal-mart ages ago. A nice Christmas Tree skirt from a store cost a lot of money. When I saw the Christmas Village embroidery design pack at the Embroidery Library, I was inspired to finally make a Christmas Tree skirt using that design. Of course That was two years ago when I purchased the Christmas Village embroidery design and one year ago I bought the fabric and started making it. This year I finally finished it. I ended up adding Santa’s Sleigh and Christmas Frolicking Friends.
Several years ago I bought an angel for my tree, but then we got a smaller tree and the angel had to be plugged into the wall so we always had a cord running down the back of the tree. The angel couldn’t be plugged into the timer either because the plug was 3 pronged and the timer only excepted 2 prongs. So when I saw Organza Angel in 3D (Lace) at the Embroidery Library I knew I had to make it. It took me 3 days to make it but it was well worth it. It fits my tree perfectly!
Now I am working on some more free-standing lace projects to decorate the house with. I will share more when they are complete.
