Making Flynn Rider

Making the Flynn Rider costume is tricky. There is no pattern for Flynn, although I think there should be. After looking through pattern after pattern I found one that closely matched the vest. Costume Satin is the most cheapest, hard to work with fabric that I have ever worked with. And when I say cheapest I mean in quality not actual price. It shreds like nothing. I will have to serge all the seams and edges to make sure it doesn’t fall apart while worn. Luckily my machine has a serge option.

I was almost done with all these pirate costumes. I am sick. And now my machine stopped working!!!! I have tried cleaning it, there was after all enough wool fibers inside to make a scarf. But it still doesn’t work. I will have to take it to Sears to get it fixed but meanwhile I need a sewing machine!!!
